I do not quite understand the question. I live in Colorado and have never lived in the South. A lot of blues began in the southern states like Mississippi, for example. So many blues musicians migrated to Chicago, because thats where the most work in the factories were paying then. Chicago eventually became in the heart of the blues. Many people were based there.
